Motif Unit: Humans Interacting with the Waters

This digest is inspired by the Bontok Folktale entitled, “The Siren of Paling”. It is a mythical love conspiracy that continues to linger to tell the tale of a love that failed. That feeling of abandonment and regret within the realm of mishaps, is presented in the passage. It enlivens the essence of relationships to be pure as the waters so both parties could have a better specter of the love that is shared.
